Rae has created various award winning RHS show gardens over the past few years at Chelsea, Hampton Court Palace and Chatsworth Flower Shows.

Rae has received show garden commissions from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and The Abbeyfield amongst others. Projects have included a sensory care home garden and a public visitor space garden as well as Chelsea trade stands. In 2019 Rae's Mindfulness garden at RHS Chatsworth was rewarded with a Gold medal, Best in Category and People's Choice award.

Another award-winning show garden was Rae's Healing Urban Garden at Hampton Court.

Most recently in May 2022 Rae designed the RHS Chelsea Flower Show exhibit for the Saatchi Gallery's immersive installation of three sculptural works by contemporary artist Anthony James. The garden layout provided an opportunity for contemplation of the sculptural pieces among the shade of the trees, allowing visitors to physically traverse the garden via a meadow pathway to see the artworks up close.

Show garden projects provide the opportunity to be truly creative and to design meaningful spaces for the visiting public to enjoy. It is a real pleasure to bring a message or specific information to people visiting the shows through a garden space, while collaborating with charities, brands, sculptors and sponsors. The added elements of theatre and showmanship for the engagement of visitors makes for very exciting and multi-faceted results.
